Account & Data Deletion

Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the PILLARS app:
1. Go to Settings or Profile Page and scroll to the bottom
2. Tap "Delete Account"
3. Confirm deletion

Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately.

What we delete
- Your PILLARS account (authentication record)
- Email address tied to your account
- Followed politicians and bookmarks
- Tracked bills
- Badges and gamification progress
- Push notification tokens and preferences
- Referral history
- Notification history

Alternative: request deletion by email If you can't access the app, email us:
- Email: hello@pillarsapp.us
- Subject: Delete my Pillars account
- Include the email address used to sign in

What we may retain

We may retain limited data only when required for legal, security, or operational purposes, such as security logs needed to prevent fraud or records needed to comply with legal obligations.
